I GET MORE KNOWLEDGE

I don’t always read
the Bible, but when I do
I get more knowledge

I FEAR NOT THE WORST

(Psalm 56:3)

I fear not the worst,
life is but a test of strength.
My trust is in Him!

I COME TO THIS PLACE

I come to this place
not for religious purpose
but to have some peace

A SIMPLE PRAYER

A SIMPLE PRAYER

In the early morning hours,
as you are sleeping sound,
I pray a simple prayer
that you be in good hands,
and that Father God guides you
into the direction necessary
to live a lasting, fulfilling life,
free from all the struggles
that you are now facing,
so that happiness can be found
through a relationship
unlike that of any other,
while there is minuscule time
for people like you to answer
the call from The One
who paid the ultimate price,
shedding His precious blood
so that you can receive
the gift of eternal life.

MIRACLES ARE MADE

miracles are made
so no prayer is wasted
in the ears of Christ

JESUS

JESUS

Judy Garland, Judy Garland,
the one, the only, till the end.

Now, if you’re young
and wondering who this might be
she’s the god I once admired
far greater than the real God.

To me a photograph of Judy
was like The Bible,
or Jesus Christ dying on the cross.
It made me feel happy,
and I just couldn’t get enough of her.

Oh, what was I thinking?
All I cared about then
was Judy Garland this
Judy Garland that.

And my bedroom is a testament
to how obsessed I was over her,
and how I replaced a non-sinner
for a real sinner.

And yes, my friend,
Judy Garland was a sinner.
How do I know that?
‘Cause everyone on Earth is a sinner.
Nobody is perfect.

Now you might ask, is that an excuse
as to why I chose Judy over Jesus?
Absolutely not!
But I’m sure glad I changed my mind.
Glory to God, Hallelujah!

I’ve learned a lot since I made that decision.
After all, there’s no other way
you’ll find yourself over that rainbow
unless you’ve got Jesus.
That’s right, Jesus!

He is the way,
He is the truth,
and He is the life.
And Jesus died so we can all live.

Who’s your Lord?
Make that Jesus.
That’s right, Jesus!
Yes!

COME ON, BROTHER

COME ON, BROTHER

I want the world to know,
I want the world to know,
I want the world to know
that I ain’t here to bug you,
I ain’t here to mug you,
I’m here to spread the word.
I know you people think it’s absurd,
but let me tell you something,
you’re gonna be nothing
if you’re gonna think
that the gospel is a prank
meant to fool the minds
of people walking the line.

Now don’t get me wrong.
I used to live your song.
I wanted to be invincible,
untouchable, unbeatable,
I wanted it to be me, me, me, me,
I wanted to be a celebrity,
I wanted to be famous,
I wanted everything except Jesus.
I thought I could wait,
and wait, and wait, and wait,
until it almost got too late.

That was me, that was me.
That’s how I wanted to be!
I’m so glad it didn’t happen that way.
I’m glad I can have Christ for today.
What about you, my friend?
What about you? Don’t go waitin’ till the end.
The end will come before long,
and you’ll be gone, gone, gone.
Is that what you want?
Is that what you want?
Is that what you want?

Come on, brother, make that choice.
Come on, brother, let me hear that voice.
Come on, brother, you’ll never regret it.
Come on, brother let me hear it, let me hear it,
let me hear it, brother, let me hear it…

HAPPY

HAPPY

There is far more to life
than what is out there to see.
Sure, money can buy many things,
but will they make you happy?

Will all the cars, the houses,
the jewelry, the women,
will they all make you happy,
and keep you happy for the long run?

The only thing that will ever
bring everlasting happiness
is the invitation of one man,
one man who never needed any of that.

He was the one who never sinned.
He was the one whom few people loved.
And He was the one who died on the cross
for all the indescretions of Mankind.

The example of Jesus Christ
has long been an inspirartion
to those who have followed Him,
and He wants you to do the same.

So, do you wish to live happy?
Do you wish to live in the Lord?
Or do you wish to delight in deceit?
It’s your choice. Choose wisely.
