I LIVE FOR MYSELF
I LIVE FOR MYSELF
I am a human being.
I live for myself.
Nobody can tell me
what kind of person
I am supposed to be.
I am my own person
with my own desires.
I choose to live life
the way I so please.
If I want to live with
who I want, sleep with
who I want, get married with
who I want, have children with
who I want, then that
is what I will do in life,
because no one will decide
that or anything else for me.
And I am not afraid to tell
anyone that I am bisexual,
because that is part of
who I am, how I grew up,
and how I am going to die.
Object if you may,
but you will never change
my mind, not for one minute.
Your life is your life,
and my life is my life.
Live as you please,
but don’t infringe your views
upon that of mine,
because that’ll get you
into some big-assed trouble,
so leave me alone
if you feel it’s necessary.
I’ve lived for other people too long,
and now, I feel it’s not worth it any more.
I live for myself, and that is final.
