GAY TANKA

the pleasuring scent
of a young, naked flower
towering above
fulfills wild, passionate
imaginations of love

—-

playing eighteen holes:
I only pay attention
to a shirtless stud,
wishing to have a moment
with the young golfer, alone

MY HEART

This poem here was written for a friend of mine. I don’t want to tell you his name, because I don’t want him to be exposed the way another someone else was when I blogged a few months before (that blog has since been removed). But I will say that I met him at a Wal-Mart, and when I left my heart was still pounding, like a tornado in Kansas. Remember the movie Wizard of Oz?

Anyway, here it is. I hope you readers enjoy.

MWAH,

MY HEART

My heart is running,
running somewhere,
somewhere away,
away from the walls,
the walls of where I live,
where I live to be myself,
to be myself from others.

My heart is taking me,
taking me to another soul,
another soul with a heart,
a heart that is hungry,
hungry for a love,
a love between me,
a love between me and you.
