Not to say that I appreciate the Lord for pornographic websites or for disgusting images that can be posted for the whole world to see. But there are a lot of people out there who like to socialize, yet can’t find any love, can’t find that special someone who shares what you have in common, those values, the similarities, etc. That’s what social networking and dating websites are for: To meet people you’ve never met. You know, a lot of good relationships have come straight out of Al Gore’s brilliant mind, and marriages have been celebrated and children have come to this world as a result.

You know, for the GLBT people out there, this can be just as true for them (maybe the children have come through other outlets), as with the much depressed heterosexual looking for somebody to love.

But the internet, I don’t know who really created it, was developed with a purpose, to get people together and meet up. It’s worked well for interest groups. It’s worked well with reunions. And it certainly works well with love. And there is nothing, and I mean nothing like it.

Thank God for the internet.
